An Annual Benefit Event
For all Women, By Women, Inspired by 1 Woman!
What is the Women’s BSM Triathlon?
For 26 years, our event has been the Barbara Schmidt Millar Celebration of Life “Triathlon”. Due to low lake levels, the 2015 event was a “Duathlon”. Although most aspects of the event were the same – familiar place, time, and overall epic experience, some things were a little different. For starters, no one wore those colorful swim caps or took the plunge into the cool lake. But there was still plenty of sweat, joy, and triumph, capped with a feel good experience that soon won’t be forgotten. 2016 marked the return of the original event, and 2020 (well that’s one for the history books because we all know what happened then). However, in 2021 we boldly introduced the “Virtual Event” because we just couldn’t sit still and watch anymore Netflix. This year, 2022, fingers crossed and lake levels permitting, we will continue the tradition with the “Triathlon Event”. So, “Hello lake and colorful swim caps, here we come”. Join us for this year’s event, it promises to be one you won’t want to miss!
